Jahsiah Mussig

Jahsiah Mussig is a New York–born actor, raised in Bed-Stuy and Queens, whose work is shaped by the city’s rhythm and cultural diversity. A graduate of the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale and Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts, with additional training at Shakespeare’s Globe in London, he has been studying and performing since the age of seven.

Drawn to characters that are idiosyncratic, poetic, and deeply human, Jahsiah approaches his craft with a commitment to truth, language, and curiosity. He finds inspiration in actors who bring specificity and fearlessness to their work, and he strives to breathe new life into both classical and contemporary stories.

For him, the story always begins with the character—the unique lens through which audiences are invited to see the world.
